Amy has amassed a body of work that includes design, art, film, landscape, and construction. Hovis has been a Principal at Eden for over twelve years, leading the company to where it is today. Hovis manages large scale productions of all kinds from concept to completion, coordinating crews, talent, equipment, materials, locations, and budgets. A common factor in all of Hovis’ work is a personal connection to her clients and crews founded on trust and mutual respect, leading teams to accomplish the best end results for her projects.

She is also an Owner/Designer of Barton Springs Nursery, an inspiring design driven Garden Center in Austin that specializes in native plants.

CO-OWNER/PRINCIPAL

Kirsten has been working the Land + Plants + Art world for her entire adult life as a Artist/Designer and Wilderness/Survivalist Teacher/Expert. She is a Principal at Eden and leads the team through each project from concept to completion. She is also our Project Manager on construction and every client's point of contact throughout their project. Her extreme attention to detail combined with her ability to "get shit done" are her most obvious superpowers, as she effortlessly manages crews, design teams, schedules, machinery and design concepts through their various stages, literally moving mountains (of dirt) to get us there.

Kirsten continues her lifelong journey of deepening her knowledge and expertise in the botanical world. She became a Partner at Eden in 2021 and now leads the teams in everything they do.

With extensive experience across various roles in the plant and design industries, Casey has successfully grown companies while cultivating a reputation for excellence. Her strengths in multitasking and project management, combined with her expertise as a horticulturist and knowledge of the construction industry, enable her to deliver high-quality work with a results-driven approach. Outside of work, Casey embraces an adventurous lifestyle, enjoying motorcycling, travel, and outdoor activities.

Despite her numerous accomplishments, Casey remains deeply rooted in her passion for nature and sustainability. She works with enthusiasm, sharing her love for the outdoors and inspiring others to appreciate the natural world. Since becoming a partner at Eden in 2022, Casey has continued to drive success, consistently designing exceptional landscapes that bring clients’ visions to life.

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

Born and raised in the dynamic city of Austin, Texas, Moira grew up immersed in the creative energy of its music, art, and the stunning vistas of the Texas Hill Country. Blending her love for nature with her creative talents, she embarked on a career in landscape design, where her keen attention to detail truly sets her apart. Moira believes that every element, no matter how small, plays a crucial role in shaping the aesthetics and functionality of outdoor spaces. From selecting the ideal materials to crafting beautifully functional living areas, she is passionate about designing landscapes that foster both beauty and sustainability. In her free time, Moira enjoys the vibrant Austin culture—attending live music events, creating art, and spending quality time with her loved ones and her dog, Berkeley.

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER, ARCHITECT

Born and raised amidst the vibrant landscapes of Mexico, Hector’s formative years were influenced by the dramatic contrasts of mountains, lush valleys, and pristine beaches. His deep love for nature and passion for design inspired him to earn a degree in Architecture from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara. With an innate talent for sketching and excelling in complex, dynamic projects, Hector transitioned seamlessly into landscape design. He is dedicated to creating spaces that inspire and leave a meaningful impact on both people and the environment. In his free time, Hector enjoys outdoor adventures, fitness, and expressing his creativity through intricate pen-and-ink landscape drawings.

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION

Victoria Cruz brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Director of Administration at Eden. Originally from the colder regions of the United States, she has built a successful career through her unwavering commitment and professional drive. Beyond her administrative expertise, Victoria finds balance in her life through her passion for yoga, a practice that has become integral to her sense of inner peace. Now a proud resident of Austin, Texas, she enjoys exploring the city’s dynamic neighborhoods and uncovering its hidden gems. In her free time, Victoria embraces nature, often venturing on scenic hikes with her loyal canine companion, savoring the beauty of the outdoors.
